City Hall Closed September 10–11, 2026
Colbert City Hall will be closed Thursday, September 10, and Friday, September 11, for staff training. Regular office hours will resume Monday, September 14.
Red Canna Park Committee
Meeting Schedule: The second and last Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Colbert Train Depot
Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend.

Trash Collection
- WastePro provides residential trash collection every Monday.
- Please have trash ready for collection by 7 a.m.
- Holiday collection schedules may differ.
Recycling
Residents interested in recycling may take recyclable items to the Madison County Landfill, where a designated building is available for recycled materials.
City Hall Holiday Closures
City Hall offices are closed for the following holidays and observances:
- New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
- The first Thursday and Friday in December
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
