The Madison County Sheriff's Office has advised the public to beware of a scam concerning the IRS. If anyone gets a call from the IRS asking for money or telling you that you owe them, please call 911 and report it. The IRS does not make phone calls. They will contact people by mail.

New Name for Old Colbert School - COLBERT MUNICIPAL COMPLEX
LEASH LAW: City of Colbert has a leash law in effect. All dogs must be on a leash or contained in a secure pen. Dogs allowed to run on street is subject to be picked up by Animal Control and a fine of up to $1000.00 can be imposed.
CITY TAX NOTICES WILL BE MAILED FROM THE COUNTY AND WILL INCLUDE CITY TAXES. ALL TAXES WILL BE PAID TO COUNTY TAX OFFICE, NOT TO CITY HALL OFFICE.
